100% ORGANIC

Food made with 100% organic ingredients (this includes animals that are 100% organic and animals that eat organic food). Bears the USDA Organic Seal.

95-99% ORGANIC

Food made with mostly organic ingredients. The remaining ingre- dients are not available organical- ly, but are NOP (National Organic Program) approved.

O3.png

94-70% ORGANIC

Food made with a large amount of organic ingredients. The remaining ingredients are not available organically, but are NOP (National Organic Program) approved.

GLUTEN-FREE

Food products or ingredients that are free from any and all Gluten based products, and were not produced in a facility that also produces Gluten based ingredients.

NON-GMO

Food products that contain no genetically modified organisms (GMO), or any other genetically altered ingredients.

KOSHER

Food products which contain ingredients that conform to the regulations of Kashrut, or Jewish Dietary Law.

CAGE-FREE

Food products or ingredients that are certified by the USDA as “free range”, or animals that have ac- cess to the outdoors at least part of the day. A common example is a cage free chicken’s eggs.

ANTIBIOTIC FREE

Food products or ingredients that are free of any and all Antibiotic ingredients or chemicals, and are not produced in a facility that uses Antibiotics or foreign chemicals.

FAIR TRADE

Food product or ingredient where a fair price was paid to producers in developing countries. A com- mon example is coffee beans thatare Fair Trade certified.

LOW-SODIUM/NO SALT

Food product or ingredient that contains little to no sodium (salt).

Food product or ingredient that contains no added sugars.

Food product or ingredient that is unprocessed, uncooked, and unpasteurized.

Food product or ingredient that qualifies for a vegetarian based diet. Contains no ingredients or products derived from meat, fish, fowl, dairy, or any other product derived from animals.
