Assistant Produce Manager

The Produce Department is seeking an assistant manager to help run the busy department. Full-time and year-round position. Computer skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds is a requirement. Any experience with plants, farming, or cooking is a huge plus. Work with local farmers and distributors to fill the Co-op’s produce department with the highest quality local and organic produce and supervise the produce department staff during shifts. Flexible hours, supportive team. 

Grocery Stocker

Join the grocery department, keeping the shelves stocked with high quality food, keeping the store floor and backroom organized and beautiful within a well-designed system. Part-time or full-time hours available, some weekday and weekend availability is a plus. Must be able to spend the day on your feet and lift cases of cans, bottles, dry goods, etc.

MEAT DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT

We are looking to hire a Meat Assistant/Stocker to assist in the meat/grocery department who is flexible, organized, able to shift gears and multitask to assist in the meat/grocery department. This position may be full time. Must be able to: handle meat and fish products, lift up to 30 lbs, handle walk-in freezer/refrigerator temps, be flexible and versatile and able to shift between different tasks, maintain an organized, attractive display, think independently and problem solve, work with others, take direction and follow instruction, stay focused in a fast-paced, busy environment, be able to work weekend day(s), and utilize computer programs occasionally.

Cashiers

Seeking friendly people for cashier positions. Part-time with the possibility of full-time hours becoming available. This position is responsible for delivering outstanding service to our customers, learning our products and services and consistently being efficient and accurate. Qualified candidates must have cash- handling experience, possess outstanding customer service and communication skills, have the ability to work a flexible schedule, and have great team-working skills.

Assitant receiver

Seeking part-time, year-round assistant to streamline the receiving process with the Receiving Department Manager, especially on heavy delivery days, Mon, Wed, Fri.

JANITOrs

Two positions are available, both year-round, one part-time, one full-time. General janitorial and maintenance tasks.

PRODUCE Stocker

Produce Stockers are responsible for quality control, maintaining a clean and beautiful display area, and stocking and rotating displays to ensure the freshest possible produce for our owners and customers. We provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment and keep a clean and organized backstock area. We receive many deliveries from our local farmers as well as larger distributors every day of the week, lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the day. We pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of local, regional, and global produce, so an enthusiasm for fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers and seeds is key! Gardeners and home cooks enjoy this work. Hours are flexible, ranging from 6:30AM to 7:30PM.

CAFÉ Weekend Line Cook & Prep Cooks

We are looking to fill positions on the weekends. Basic kitchen skills are preferred, but willing to train the right person. This would be Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm. There is some flexibility with time. And also the opportunity to pick up shifts during the week if interested.
